Maryann and Ryon Blehr of Charles Town, West Virginia, lost their daughter, Bella, to ACD in January 2010. Maryanne’s cousin, Cami and her husband Randy, began thinking of ways that Bella could be a part of their lives forever, carry on her name (which means beauty), and help search for answers on her cause of death.
Cami and Randy McCraw own Stretch Productions, an audio/video production company in the North Texas area. They were about to release a compilation CD of music they had recorded when Bella died from ACD. They decided that some proceeds from this CD would be donated to ACD research.
It was with great pride that on September 22, 2010, Baby Bella’s 9 month birthday, Stretch Productions released their CD entitled, “The Answer” featuring the Keller Singers, Red White and Blues (bio) and special guest Jordyn Shellhart. As you may know, Jordyn Shellhart has played at the Grand Ol’ Oprey and performed at the Country Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. Jordyn’s manager has also been the manager for Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Lady Antebellum so expect Jordyn’s career to take off. Check out Jordyn's website. or Jordyn's Facebook.
Lisa Stewart Seals who sings "Perfect Love" on the CD is in the upcoming movie “Country Strong” with Tim McGraw, Gwenyth Paltrow, and Leighton Meester. Lisa is married to country singer Brady Seals whose cousins are Jimmy and Dan Seals. Those of us who grew up in the 1970’s will remember their bands Seals & Crofts and England Dan & John Ford Coley.
